Just playing around trading binary options.  I do that because I heard many many people telling that this is some kind of scam etc. I also demonstrated how can you make $350 of profit in 60 seconds in this post

profit: +40pips .. that's quick $400 for the weekend :))

Trading Forex with Ichimoku - Checklist

If you found this post, this means you are familiar with Ichimoku Indicator for  forex trading, so I am not going deeply into describing this forex indicator.

 I'll keep this post short, and I'll present what I call Ichimoku Checklist to help you in your day by day forex trading activity. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss more.

 Ichimoku Checklist

1) Where is the Price in Relation to the Cloud ?

          a) Is it Above the Ichimoku Cloud? Then filter your trades for BUY signals only

          b) Inside the Ichimoku Cloud? - be cautious, but ready to get in on the prior trend or if you are into a trade already, prepare to add to that position (so, NO TRADE at this moment, just wait and prepare)

          c) Below the Ichimoku Cloud? - filter for SHORT ONLY TRADES (SELL)

2) Is the price consistently on one side of the cloud os is price whipping around on both sides consistently meaning Range Bound on Not worth trend trading ???

3) Is the laging line in open space? (not inside the cloud) and on the same side of the cloud just as the price ?

4)Which level od the Ichimoku would you like to use to place your stop? (Tenkan, Kijun, Senkou A or Senkou B)

How many pips can I make as a full time trader?

Hello audience :) A friend of mine follower of this blog asked me if he could make a living from trading and asked Home many pips should target to accomplish that.

 Well, different traders have a different target depending on their preference, as they trade using different strategies and time frames. This also depends on how much return the trader wants to achieve in a longer period of time,like a month or a year.

That is the way to go. Thinking on monthly or yearly profit. Do not think how much you could make per day because that can harm your account if you over trade or chase the market.

There are days that is better to not trade at all. So you should fix a 10% monthly profit instead 100 pips per day :) .

With good money and risk management you can make 10% a day either you earn 10, 50 or even 100 pips. I know traders that are happy with 20 - 30 pips daily.

They trade 1 lot so those 20 pips equals 200 dollars per day which is good. I personally tend to trade less lots but trying to get more pips over time, at least at this moment.

 To some people, 10% may sound easy. And yes, it is not difficult to reach 10% return, but the difficult part is to be consistent and know when you need stop as people get greedy once they make profits.

 The difference between amateur traders is this: Amateurs are concerned with how much they can make but professionals are more concerned with how much they afford to lose.
